Another church, this one at the Fortress of Peter and Paul. It is on an island directly across from the Hermitage.  All the great emperors of Russia are buried here.   Part of the island was a jail.  They tossed all sorts of people in there, like Doestoyevsky.  Peter the Great stuck his own son in here for a while. A state building across from the church.  I think it was a mint, or a place to store currency.   want to know more?
