good examples of the plaster-cast ornamentation.  The skilled work to create the complicated ornamentation was done separately, to create a mould for the plaster panels.  The panels themselves were probably cast in the same shop. In this case, we have the lion and the leaves.  On site, the panels were simply set in place.   So, we have a facade with complicated ornamentation, but with simple construction.
