Our first stop out of Budapest was in Kalocsa, known mainly for its paprika and its horsemen of the Puzsta.

One of the high points of the entire trip was the horsemen.

First stop was at some Hungarian Folk house.  Tourist trap

Then to the paprika Museum, which is an attic of a house.  We go upstairs in the house, and what greets us?
Ristras.  lots of ristras.  It even smells like ristras.  hmmmmmmm.
Then the girl tells us that the pepper that is now Hungarian Paprika originated in Mexico.
So much for local color.

After the Paprika museum, we go to some big pink church.

Welcoming committee at the church.
